on Wednesday after he allegedly murdered his seven-year-old daughter.

Hebbagodi police said Vijaya Kumar, a welder from

Bangarpet

, waited for his wife to leave for work and then strangled his daughter Sameeksha with a mobile charger and later smothered her to death using a pillow. He hanged himself from the ceiling after that.

Preliminary probe indicated Kumar had taken loans from private persons and failed to repay them.
