BENGALURU: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike has released the final voter list for 25 constituencies, barring three assembly segments which are currently undergoing scrutiny.
The final list for Chickpet, Mahadevapura and Shivajinagar constituencies will be released on January 15, said BBMP chief commissioner Tushar Giri Nath, who is also the election officer.
According to the final list, the total number of voters in 25 segments is 82.3 lakh, of which over 42.6 lakh are men, 39.6 lakh are women. There has been an increase by 80,386 voters.
A total of 1,20,460 voters have been added and 22,244 deleted. The total number of young voters is 48,542, he said. The numbers will be more once the final list of three other constituencies is out. Giri Nath said special commissioners are verifying the list of three constituencies under the supervision of Bengaluru regional commissioner Aditya Amalan Biswas.
