Air Force Station Yelahanka gets new chief
Bengaluru: Air Commodore Rohith Vijayadev assumed command of Air Force Station Yelahanka, taking over from his predecessor, Air Commodore Mukesh Kumar Yadav. The transition took place amid an impressive ceremonial parade at the airbase in Bengaluru.Air Commodore Vijayadev is an alumnus of the prestigious National Defence Academy and was commissioned into the Flying (Pilot) branch of the IAF in 1997. Over the years, he has accumulated a flying record of over 6,200 hours, piloting a variety of transport aircraft, including Avro, Embraer and Dornier-228. His operational experience spans crucial sectors across the country.
