Mame Khan belongs to the family of Manganiyar folk musicians who have been promoting the tradition of folk music for over 15 generations. “It was amazing to perform in Bareilly and in front of the crowd who were so encouraging and motivating. Bareillywallahs were a great host and they gave us so much respect and love that it has touched our hearts forever,” Mame Khan said after the event.

Sharmila, one of the guests at the event, said, “It was a rare music performance and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Most importantly, it was a hatke evening where we were treated to some soulful sufi music with a tadka of folk tradition that was unique and entertaining. Besides enjoying the live performance, we enjoyed the food and drinks that were served at the party.”
