BAREILLY: A 30-year-old man died of a heart attack while playing cricket in UP's Shahjahanpur on Saturday. Eyewitnesses said that Chandra appeared uneasy while batting and was recording himself during the match, which turned out to be his final video.
His friend, Anoj Kumar, told TOI, "Chandra collapsed after returning from batting. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and later referred to another facility. Despite receiving treatment for nearly 40 minutes, his condition worsened and he was shifted to Bareilly, where he was declared dead."
Kumar added that Chandra was the only child of his parents and the sole breadwinner of the family. He was also a qualified umpire and an accomplished batsman, having played in over a hundred matches.
