Plan for development of focal points in Punjab, says minister Anmol Gagan Mann

AMRITSAR: Punjab minister for tourism and cultural affairs and investment promotion Anmol Gagan Mann informed that a special plan had been drawn up for the improvement of focal points in Punjab.

She was addressing the businessmen on the occasion of the 17th edition of PITEX on Thursday.

Giving details, she said that under the plan these focal points were being reconstructed by spending Rs 1150 crore rupees.

“Under this scheme, industrialists are being given benefits by improving the focal points in Punjab. Due to the pro-industry policies of the Punjab government, many large industrial companies have established their industries in the state so far and capital investment of 60 thousand crores has come to Punjab in just two years” claimed she.

On this occasion, D. P. S. Kharbanda chief executive officer of Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion said that after the formation of the new government in Punjab, many reputed companies had invested here leading to an increase in employment in the state.
