Union highways minister Nitin Gadkari worships at Tirumala

TIRUPATI: Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the world renowned Tirumala temple on Thursday.

The union minister took part in the Thomala seva pre-dawn rituals at the hill temple.

TTD JEO V Veerabrahmam offered the temple's prasadams and a pic momento of Lord Venkateswara and Vedasirvachanam was also rendered to Nitin Gadkari at the Ranganayakula mandapam.

Speaking to reporters outside the Tirumala temple, the union minister said that he prayed the almighty give him the necessary strength to dedicate himself for the comprehensive development of the country.

Former TTD board member G Bhanu Prakash Reddy and others were present.
