Naidu, who is pulling all the stops to make a political comeback as the chief minister of the state at the age of 74, took part in 89 Prajagalam public meetings across the state in the run-up to the 2024 elections.

With a renewed pact between the TDP, BJP and the Jana Sena right before the general elections, Naidu also held a series of joint public meetings with Prime minister Narendra Modi and union Home minister Amit Shah.

While the YSRCP led by chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, is leaving no stone unturned to retain power, Naidu has also gone the extra mile to make a strong political comeback.

After ending his election campaign with the public meeting held at his home district Chittoor on Saturday amidst a short spell of a downpour, Naidu headed straight to his "Kula Deivam" (Family deity) Lord Venkateswara Swamy's abode at Tirumala, seeking the divine intervention of the almighty for the electoral success of the NDA alliance in the upcoming elections, as AP goes to vote simultaneously for the assembly and parliament constituencies on May 13.

After ending his campaign trail on a high note, Naidu took to X to thank the people of Andhra Pradesh, for pledging impeccable support to the TDP and the NDA alliance during the 45 days long election campaign.

"The participation of massive crowds at the Prajagalam public meetings are a reflection of the peoples mood for a change. People are also very clear about their expectations for the next govt to come to power. Finally after five years, the anarchic YSRCP rule must end and for that to happen, people from all walks of life should wholeheartedly pledge support for NDA alliance's victory to lead the state into a golden era of growth and development.
