PM Modi says countdown has begun to drive out YSRCP mafia, bring double-engine NDA govt in Andhra Pradesh
TIRUPATI: Prime minister Narendra Modi, in his public meeting held at Piler in Annamayya district on Wednesday, stated that the countdown has begun to drive out the YSRCP mafia and bring in the double-engine NDA govt in Andhra Pradesh.
Prime minister pointed out to the people of the Rayalaseema region that they were still reeling under the impact of backwardness despite having access to unlimited mines and mineral wealth, world-class pilgrimage centres like Tirupati, hardworking farming community and young talent, because they pledged support to such political parties, which never had a vision for development.
Accusing the YSRCP govt of pledging support to the sand and mining mafia, Modi recalled the devastation caused by the Annamayya dam crash of 2021, in which nearly 25 villages were washed away and tens of people lost their lives.
The Prime minister also lamented about the rowdy-rule enforced by Chittoor district political strongman and minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and warned that the NDA govt after coming to power will give appropriate treatment to the YSRCP mafia.
"While providing potable drinking water to every household is NDA's goal, the YSRCP govt hasn't cooperated properly in the effective implementation of the Jal Jivan mission in AP. This govt has also failed to complete the Polavaram and several other irrigation projects in the Rayalaseema region as well", Modi alleged.
The Prime minister launched a scathing attack on the Congress party over its "divide and rule" philosophy.
"One of the close aides and advisors to the Congress party prince Rahul Gandhi, recently remarked that the people of the north-eastern parts of India resemble the Chinese, the South Indians resemble Africans, the West Indians resemble the Arabians etc. Doesn't such comments reflect the divide and rule philosophy of the Congress party", Modi questioned the people.
The Prime minister questioned Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin, Uddhav Thackarey and other India bloc parties, asking if they took pledge support to these racial philosophies of the Congress party and dared them to snap ties with the grand old party for making such racial remarks on the people living across various Indian states.
Shifting his focus on the state of development works in Andhra Pradesh, Modi said the NDA govt was committed to bringing revolutionary changes in the industrial and infrastructure landscape in the country.
The Nandyal-Yerraguntla railway line has been completed in AP. The new railway line between Kadapa-Bengaluru will be commissioned soon. The construction of the new airport terminal at Kadapa is underway.
The BJP led NDA govt has made a very important promise of bringing bullet trains to the South India. "Shouldn't bullet trains travel be facilitated in Andhra Pradesh or not", the Prime minister announced and asked amidst a thunderous applause.
Explaining that only the NDA govt can bring a turnaround in the lives of the farmers of the Rayalaseema region, Modi promised to establish special storage clusters within the next five years to help the farmers in preserving their produce such as tomatoes and other vegetables. "The food processing sector will gather tremendous momentum in the next five years. The NDA govt will also extend focussed support to the "Farmer producer organization" (FPO)
Stating that every vote the people of Andhra Pradesh will cast in the upcoming elections will directly come into his account and will subsequently reflect in Andhra Pradesh's development in the next five years, Prime minister Narendra Modi appealed to the people to elect Daggumalla Prasad Rao contesting as Chittoor MP, former Chief minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy contesting on a BJP ticket at the Rajampet parliament, V Varaprasad Rao contesting on a BJP ticket from Tirupati Lok Sabha and to Chadipiralla Bhupesh Reddy contesting on a TDP ticket at the Kadapa parliament constituency.
Former TDP minister Nara Lokesh and several other MLA nominees of the NDA alliance also took part in the PM's public meeting at Piler on Wednesday.
