Nara Lokesh vows to end ganja menace

AMARAVATI: HRD minister Nara Lokesh has ordered an investigation into ganja consumption by students of IIIT-Idupulapaya, after some parents raised concerns over the issue during his 'praja darbar' public grievance meeting on Wednesday.

The parents alleged that the campus has become a haven for ganja, which is affecting their children's academic performance. Lokesh assured them he would address the issue and take action to safeguard students' future.

Emphasizing that the govt has already implemented measures to combat the menace, he called for strict action against local politicians who are promoting ganja consumption.
