There are 151 railway stations, spread acros 23 districts and 20 Lok Sabha constituencies, under NCR's Allahabad division. During the annual meeting, the parliamentarians also demanded that Jhunsi, Prayagghat, Rambagh and Prayag railway stations be brought under NCR's Allahabad division.
The meeting was attended by Rajya Sabha MPs like Vishambhar Prasad Nishad (Banda) and Sukhram Singh Yadav (Kanpur), and Lok Sabha MPs like Rita Bahuguna Joshi (Allahabad), Keshri Devi Patel (Phulpur), RK Singh Patel (Banda), Satyadev Pachauri (Kanpur), Pakaudi Lal Kol (Robestraganj), SP Singh Baghel (Agra), Chandra Sen Jadon (Firozabad), Mukesh Rajput (Farukkhabad). Ten MPs had also sent their representatives to the meeting.
NCR general manager Rajiv Chaudhry said that after successfully organising
Kumbh Mela, NCR would try to ensure that passengers are not disappointed during the Magh Mela in 2020.

The delegation's other demands included that all passing trains be allowed to halt at Allahabad, a road underbridge at Khathauli, increased frequency of Kalindi Express and that the Saryu Express ply up to Chitrakoot.
