IIIT-A to launch online MTech course in AI, Data Science

Prayagraj : The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Team Lease EdTech Ltd. to support the launch of its proposed Executive MTech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science in online mode.

The collaboration marks a significant step toward expanding access to advanced postgraduate education for working professionals seeking to strengthen their expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science. As industries increasingly integrate AI-driven technologies across sectors such as automation, analytics, decision-making, customer experience, cybersecurity, healthcare, manufacturing, and financial services, the demand for industry-relevant and flexible learning opportunities continues to rise.

The proposed executive MTech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science will be a two-year online programme aimed at equipping learners with strong theoretical foundations as well as practical skills in AI, ML, and data science tools and techniques. The curriculum is expected to emphasize real-world applications and problem-solving across diverse industry domains.

It is designed for professionals and graduates having Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering, Technology, or related disciplines. Candidates with relevant work experience and foundational knowledge of programming and mathematics will be preferred.

Details regarding the formal launch, admission schedule, and application process will be announced by IIITA in due course.
