PRAYAGRAJ: The state govt will promote the official app dedicated to Maha Kumbh. The app was launched by the Mela Authority and is available for download on the Google Play Store, making it accessible for everyone interested in learning more about Maha Kumbh.

This app aims to provide comprehensive information about the Maha Kumbh, ensuring that users stay informed about various aspects of this significant religious gathering.

Users will be able to find a wealth of resources on the app, including books and blogs on Maha Kumbh and Kumbh, offering deeper insights into the traditions and importance of the mega event.

Prayagraj, being one of India's oldest cities and known as ‘Prayag' or ‘Tirthraj' in ancient texts, is also regarded as one of the pilgrimage sites. The Sangam city is famous for hosting the annual Magh Mela, the Kumbh Mela every six years, and the Maha Kumbh Mela every 12 years..

This year, extensive preparations are underway in the city for the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela in 2025. The app features reports by major institutions like IIM, providing valuable resources for those interested in researching the Maha Kumbh.
