Watery grave for 2 boys in Ajmer rain-fed pond

Ajmer: Two boys drowned in Megato ki Dhani village of Jawaja block on Wednesday morning when they went to swim in a rain-filled pond. Police handed over bodies to their family members after the postmortem. According to police, Rahul (14) and Puran (14) of Mehato ki Dhani village had taken their goats for grazing in the jungle, when they saw a rain filled pond and went to swim in it. However, both of them drowned and it was a passerby who alerted their families. Two electrocuted in Bhilwara: Two men were electrocuted on Wednesday morning after touching the iron gate at the main bus stand in Subhas Nagar. Police said one of the deceased, Babulal, who had a shop at the bus stand had touched the metal gate and electrocuted. In a bid to save him, Naushad, who stayed at the bus stand platform saw Babulal, and ran to help him but he also got electrocuted. Subhash Nagar police SHO Shivraj Gujjar said that both died on spot.
