2 arrested for ATM fraud in Ajmer dist

Ajmer: Police here on Thursday arrested two “repeat offenders” for allegedly cheating people by changing their ATM cards at booths. Both accused, identified as Romi Khateek (33) and Shahrukh Khan (33), are residents of Kotwali area in Dholpur. Police said the accused were repeat offenders and had committed similar crimes in different districts of Madhya Pradesh. Police formed al team to nab them after receiving many complaints.Additional SP (city) Durg Singh Rajpurohit said a complaint was lodged at Kotwali police station by a person who stated that his son had gone to withdraw money from an ATM opposite GPO. Two persons met his son and they changed the ATM card and withdrew Rs 1 lakh, he said. tnn
