Two nabbed for stealing tanker wheels

AHMEDABAD: Special operation group sleuths on Thursday nabbed two persons -

Mubinkhan Pathan

, 35, of Danilimda and Krunal Patel, 25, of Bopal - for

stealing tankers

and abandoning them after

taking off their wheels

. They used to sell the wheels to scrap dealers at low prices. Assistant commissioner of police B C Solanki said that during interrogation, the accused confessed to have stolen tankers from six places, mostly from the eastern parts of the city. "The duo has also provided information about the

buyer of stolen wheels

. We are searching for the receiver," Solanki said.
