'Mounting debts may have pushed him': Domino’s delivery executive jumps to death from 13th floor

VALSAD: A Domino’s Pizza delivery worker allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the 13th floor of the Daman Ganga Building in the New Gujarat Housing Board colony area of Valsad on Sunday.

Preliminary information suggests that the man, identified as Manav, was under severe financial distress. Sources told TOI, mounting debts may have contributed to his decision to take the extreme step.

Residents in the area alerted the police immediately after the incident. Officials from the Valsad City Police Station have begun an investigation into the case.

Police have also said that Manav is survived by his mother and sister. Statements from family members and others known to him are being recorded to determine the exact circumstances that led to the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
