Gujarat: 433 schools to be class 10 and class 12 board exam centres

AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has selected 433 schools in Ahmedabad as exam centres for Class 10 and 12 board exams that begin on March 14, 2023. The board has selected 242 schools for Class 10 exams, 152 schools for Class 12 general stream exams and the remaining 39 for Class 12 science stream exams.

The boards will be held from March 14 to 31, 2023.

The GSHSEB has informed the district education officer (DEO) about its selection of schools. The DEO has instructed the schools to start preparations to put the necessary infrastructure in place to conduct the exams. Sources said that the board has selected the same schools as it had in previous years. Sources said that the GSHSEB has asked all schools that have been registered as exam centres to install CCTV cameras in every classroom in the block. The schools have also been asked to ensure facilities such as benches, drinking water and electricity supply are in place before the exams commence.

The board has already begun the registration process for the exam on November 10. tnn
