Anti-social elements break into Saraspur pool, create ruckus

Ahmedabad: A video of anti-social elements entering the civic pool in Saraspur and creating a nuisance went viral on Sunday night, prompting the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to approach the cops to file a complaint of tresspass and disturbance against those involved.

Assistant municipal commissioner Tejas Bhandari said, “A section of pool fencing is broken. Taking advantage of this, some anti-social elements entered the premises and engaged in activities that damaged the facility. A security guard filmed them. We have initiated fence repairs. Since non-members broke in and damaged the pool, we have written to the police to take legal action and register a case against them.”
