Ahmedabad road rage: Woman beaten, left with broken nose
Ahmedabad: A 54-year-old homemaker from Satellite filed a complaint at Karanj police station on Thursday, alleging she was assaulted by occupants of an SUV following a minor traffic dispute near Pankor Naka on Wednesday night.
The woman alleged that when she knocked on the driver’s window to tell him what had happened, a man in the SUV slapped her daughter. She then called the police helpline. An argument ensued with the occupants of the SUV, and she was allegedly slapped and punched. She later sought treatment for nasal fracture at Sola Civil Hospital. Police registered a case of causing grievous hurt and began an investigation.
