3 held in Ahmedabad for stealing mobile phones

AHMEDABAD: The city crime branch have arrested three persons and recovered 30 mobile phones from them. The three had stolen mobiles from Ghatlodia, Infocity in Gandhinagar, Nikol and Sabarmati Riverfront East areas.
The crime branch officials said that acting on a tip off they kept a vigil in Bapunagar area and arrested Rohit Datani (20), Bharat Datani (21) both resident of a resident of Chandkheda and Ranjitsinh Tomar (20) a resident of Bapunagar.The accused informed the cops that they used to steal mobiles from Sunday market on Riverfront and often targeted overcrowded areas.
Cops are now probing the modus operandi .
