luggage coaches

of trains and have arrested four men, including a railway employee.

, executed the successful arresting of interstate thieves' gang, who has been operating in New Delhi and Madhya Pradesh bound trains.

Identified as Saleem Aziz from Tundla, Mohammad Tahir from Aligarh, Manas Das from Palam and Shaheed Ali from Kashmiri Gate of New Delhi, the four accused have been booked under Section 411 of the IPC.

According to officer Manikant Sharma, “Shaheed Ali is a fourth-grade employee of railway working at New Delhi station. It was him who provided the cargo information to other members of the gang, who later used to execute robbery in trains.”

“We have recovered walkie-talkies which were set on railway frequency and were used to gather information. There are other gang members as well whom we are looking for. We have recovered gas cutter, iron bars, and other instruments, which were used to cut the luggage coach to rob the valuables,” he said.

The phones which GRP Agra Cantt has recovered includes sealed packed Samsung, Karbon, Micromax, i-phone and other brands. Cops have also recovered Rs 40,000 cash from the accused men.
