INDIA bloc’s poll promises unrealistic: Manik

Agartala: Tripura CM Manik Saha said the people of the state have realised that the speeches and promises made by the INDIA bloc for the elections are unrealistic, reports Biswendu Bhattacharjee.
“When PM Modi visited Agartala, he said ‘picture abhi baki hai’. We can assume what awaits us when he takes charge again as the PM,” he said, while addressing a poll rally at Jubarajnagar in North Tripura on Sunday.
Before 2014, there were concerns about the country’s future. Under the UPA govt, corruption was rampant, he said. “Our Parliament and the soldiers on borders were attacked. An unstable situation prevailed. However, after Narendra Modi assumed office as the PM in 2014, the situation changed,” he said.
