Next-gen dating apps modified for women at work

After decades in the workforce, if we continue to be bothered about keeping women at the workplace, we clearly haven’t progressed much. A chief cause cited for women leaving the workplace is lack of correct mentoring. But there’s a lot of proven tech that can help.

Take dating apps, and how the use of NLP and computer vision can help remove bias, and machine language algorithms can find that perfect match. The same tech could power matchmaking for mentors suitable to women at different life stages of their career. Here’s another – AI powered virtual assistant for customised answers and how it’s helping in therapy. We could adapt that tech to counsel women facing emotional challenges at work.

And another – behavioural apps for weight loss, alcoholism, could be adapted for self-monitoring organisational behaviour towards supporting gender diversity. It clearly doesn’t take much science. But it sure does take a village. Here’s to a collective “us” to make the change that counts.
