Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) recorded a 42% increase in cargo volume in December 2023, reaching 35.65 million metric tonnes. Dry bulk cargo handling rose by 63%, and container handling increased by over 28%. In the quarter ending in December, APSEZ handled 109 MMT of cargo, with 106 MMT contributed by its domestic ports portfolio. APSEZ aims to achieve over 400 MMT of cargo volumes in FY24. The company plans to raise funds through non-convertible debentures and non-cumulative redeemable preference shares.
