Motor India on Thursday embarked on the 125-cc scooter segment, along with unveiling the 2020 editions of MT-15 and YZF R15 V3.
The unisex scooter Fascino is priced at Rs 66,430-69,930 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Japanese bikemakers, however, are yet to reveal the prices of other models.
The scooters, Fascino and RayZR, are equipped with 125-cc fuel-injected, BS-VI compliant engines, generating 8.2 PS power at 6,500 rpm and 9.7 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The power rating has increased by 30%, fuel efficiency by 16% against the outgoing 113-cc units.

The kerb weight has been reduced by 4 kilos, now stands 99 kg.
The design language has witnessed significant changes. The sporty Ray ZR gets a sharp-looking headlight with a Y-shaped LED stripe on top. The Day ZR is available in drum and disc brake versions, and the latter gets a digital instrument cluster. Brushed guards and block-pattern tyres contribute to the rugged looks. The special edition, Street Rally 125 FI, comes in two paint schemes - deep purplish-blue and sparkle green.
The Fascino looks more trendy visually, with shimmering colour schemes. Chrome has been thrown around the front apron, mirrors, side profile along with a large V-shaped tail light.
Yamaha also showcased the 2020 editions of MT-15 and YZF-R15 V3. The MT-15, which was launched earlier this year, now gets an all-new colour scheme - ice fluo-vermillion. All-new radial tyres feature in the two sporty motorcycles. That aside most styling cues remain the same.
