The Big Boss in his office. His Aide-in-Chief comes rushing in, very agitated.
Aide-in-Chief: Bossbhai, do you know what all those nakame students protesting against us in campuses across the country are doing now?
Big Boss: What are they doing? Emigrating en masse to Pakistan?
A-in-C: I wish they were. No, theyâre calling us funny names.
BB: You mean like the names all those intellectuals and such like antinationals who should also all emigrate to Pakistan have been calling us, saying weâre factcists, just because we twist a few facts about the state of the economy, and joblessness, and how CAA is not discriminatory against Muslims?
A-in-C: What those guys call us is not factcists but facists. The students are calling us Chhotu and Motu, which makes us sound like a comedy team, like Laurel and Hardy.
BB: Being called Chhotu and Motu is worse than being called factcists?
A-in-C: You bet it is. Being called factcists â facists â means that people are taking us seriously. Being called Chhotu and Motu means they arenât taking us seriously but are laughing at us, which is worse. When people call us factcists â facists â it means theyâre frightened of us, which is a jolly good thing. But when people start calling us Chhotu and Motu means that instead of being frightened of us theyâre making fun of us, which is not a good thing at all.
BB: But which one of us is Chhotu and which one Motu?
A-in-C: Well, youâre the Big Boss with the 56-inch chest so I guess you must be Motu and I must be Chhotu, being only your Aide-in-Chief.
BB: No way, chum. I might have a 56-inch chest but youâve got a 56-inch waistline, which definitely makes you the Motu. Besides which, a lot of people say that youâre the real boss of the show and Iâm just your puppet, which makes me Chhotu.
A-in-C: No way! Iâm Chhotu, and youâre Motu!
BB: Get lost, Motu! Iâm Chhotu!
A-in-C: Uh, oh. I think this conversation proves that we really are a pair of jokersâŠ.
