Bigg Boss Telugu season 2: 10 statements made by Nani at Bigg Boss Press Meet

Naveen Kumar aka Nani who is officially announced as the new host of the TV reality show Bigg Boss Telugu season 2, participated in an official press meet this morning.

Here are the statements Nani made on this occasion.

Nani hasn't watched Bigg Boss earlier. He even used to pull the legs of his cousins and family members for watching Bigg Boss. Now ironically he ended up hosting the show.

When Nani inquired about Bigg Boss with his friends, they exclaimed, 'You don't watch Bigg Boss?' That’s when Nani realized the popularity of the show.

After giving a nod to the reality show, Nani met Jr NTR, the host of the previous season at the latter’s house one day. They discussed, how being normal would help host the show.

Nani hasn’t watched Bigg Boss Telugu season one as well. When he visited Jr NTR, he promised to watch the previous episodes.

Answering a question, Nani declared that he will not follow Salman (from the Hindi season) or Jr NTR's style of hosting.

- The sheer challenge in hosting a reality show like Bigg Boss, especially after Jr NTR setting a benchmark for the Telugu audience.

- Nani sees this as an opportunity to get close to the masses.

Nani said that he wouldn’t have participated in the show. Nani added that he experienced ‘Soul-searching’ in the Himalayas while shooting for Yevade Subramanyam. He opined that anyone else who needs this should enter the Bigg Boss house.

When quizzed about sharing his lesser known talents in the show (like Jr NTR cooked in season one), Nani replied, “I cannot cook like Tarak. Maybe I can get Tarak come and cook again.”

Answering the question ‘Who is your Bigg Boss?’, Nani replies, “People are always my Bigg Boss.” This evoked an applause in the house.
