Hyundai Motor India has partnered with Charge Zone to install high-speed EV chargers across Hyundai dealerships nationwide. As per the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), 100 Hyundai dealerships will be equipped with DC 60 kW fast chargers. At present, Hyundai's network includes 34 EV fast charging stations.
Hyundai Dealership EV Chargers: Who will be able to use themThese chargers will be benefiting all EV users, whether they drive Hyundai vehicles or not. This expanded network will be accessible through the 'myHyundai' app or the ‘Charge Zone ‘ smartphone app.
Currently, HMIL operates 19 dealerships with DC 60 kW public EV charging stations. The new partnership aims to add 100 more charging stations, ensuring a reliable and hassle-free charging experience with 24/7 customer support. This expansion is part of HMIL's broader strategy, which includes an extensive EV charging network featuring DC 180 kW and DC 60 kW chargers across key cities and highways in nine Indian states.
Hyundai’s Charging Management System Platform - EV Charge Besides this Hyundai Motor India has also developed a dedicated Charging Management System (CMS) platform, "EV Charge," integrated within the "myHyundai" mobile app. This platform enables EV users to locate charging points, book charging slots, monitor remotely, and make digital payments. The CHARGE ZONE network is also included in the "EV Charge'' section, along with HMIL’s and third-party charging points.
