Bajaj Chetak lineup gets more tech, performance: Price, details
Bajaj Auto has updated its Bajaj Chetak range, adding more features, improving performance and introducing a new naming structure. The updated lineup is now available and brings changes across all variants. One of the biggest updates is the new naming system. The Chetak range will now follow a ‘C Series’ format, divided into three tiers: C 35, C 30 and C 25. The updated range starts at Rs 91,504, ex-showroom.
2026 Bajaj Chetak Lineup: What's new
On the feature front, the highlight is the addition of Google Maps integration on the top-spec C 35 01. The navigation system is built into the Chetak app and replaces the earlier in-house solution.
Performance has also seen a noticeable boost. Top speed has been increased across the range. The C 35 01 and C 35 02 now reach 80 kmph, up from 73 kmph. The C 35 03 and C 30 01 now top out at 70 kmph, compared to 63 kmph earlier, while the C 25 01 now offers a top speed of 60 kmph, up from 55 kmph. The flagship model also gets a bump in motor output, now producing 4.8 kW instead of 4.5 kW.
Charging times have improved as well. The C 30 01 now takes 2 hours and 55 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent, nearly an hour quicker than before.
Bajaj has also added more value by making features like ride modes and hill hold assist standard on the C 35 and C 30 series. Earlier, these were offered as optional add-ons. In addition, the C 35 01 and C 35 02 now support over-the-air updates, allowing users to receive software upgrades without visiting a service centre.
