TVS Orbiter e-scooter: Key details
On the design front, the scooter keeps things simple with a flat, commuter-style body. The front apron is clean and highlighted by a slim LED DRL strip in the centre, giving it a look somewhat reminiscent of the TVS Jupiter 110. A tall flyscreen sits above for added practicality. The lighting setup includes a horizontally placed oval-shaped LED headlamp with matching LED DRL surrounds, while the rear sports a neat LED tail-lamp to complete the look. The scooter also comes with a long, flat seat and a solid grab rail for the pillion’s comfort.
Speaking of practicality, you get a 34-litre underseat storage that can swallow up to two helmets, along with a handy USB charging port. The digital cluster is fully connected and works with the TVS SmartXonnect app, offering features like geo-fencing, safety alerts, call alerts and even navigation.
Other key highlights include features such as cruise control, automated hill-hold, reverse mode, and a fall-triggered motor cut-off for added safety. The model promises an IDC range of 158 km on a single charge. In terms of hardware, it rides on telescopic forks up front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is managed by a front disc and rear drum combination.
