Land Rover recently launched the new Range Rover Velar in the Indian market at Rs 93 lakh, ex-showroom onwards. The company has already commenced the bookings for the Velar facelift across the country. Deliveries will start in September 2023.

New Range Rover Velar: ExteriorIn terms of exterior, Range Rover Velar facelift comes equipped with new pixel LED headlamps and revised DRLs at the front fascia. The side profile remains almost unchanged, while the rear of the SUV receives redesigned tail lamps and rear bumper.

New Range Rover Velar: InteriorInside the cabin, the new Range Rover Velar has received a new dashboard, similar to the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover. It comes equipped with a new 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system running Land Rover's Pivi Pro with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a wireless charger. Furthermore, the centre console now gets a clean design with few buttons and a new conventional unit instead of the rotary drive selector.

New Range Rover Velar: PowertrainRange Rover Velar facelift is available in a single HSE variant with two powertrain options. At its heart, the new Velar is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine, developing a max power of 250 hp and a peak torque of 365 Nm. The SUV also gets a 2.0-litre diesel engine mated with a mild-hybrid system, generating a peak power of 204 hp and a max torque of 430 Nm. Both engines come paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The petrol variant offers a claimed top speed of 217 kmph and does 0-100 kmph in 7.5 seconds, while the diesel variant offers a claimed top speed of 210 kmph and accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 8.3 seconds. It has a water-wading depth of 580 mm and an air suspension with 'Elegant Arrival' mode which reduces the ride height by 40 mm while entering or exiting the SUV.
