Jeep India has finally launched the highly-anticipated 5th gen Grand Cherokee in India - its new flagship SUV offering in the country. Unlike the previous iteration of the SUV that was sold in India, the new Grand Cherokee is being locally assembled in the country. Also, India has now become the first market worldwide to get the right-hand drive (RHD) Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV.

Considering its market positioning and pricing, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee will go on to rival luxury SUVs like Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and even the Audi Q7. While it could be difficult to infiltrate a segment that has been dominated by the three Germans for a pretty long time, does the American SUV have what it takes to go neck and neck against these luxury SUVs?

Here's a detailed specifications comparison between the newly launched Jeep Grand Cherokee, Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5 as well as the Audi Q7 to help you find the answer to that question -
