Yamaha says that the carbon fibre pattern is inspired by the R1M’s carbon bodywork and has been applied using modern water-dipping technology. This new pattern can be seen on the front cowl, sides fairing, and the flanks of the rear side panels. In addition to the carbon fibre pattern, the R15M also gets an all-black fender, new decals on the tank and sides fairing along blue wheels at both ends.
The R15M not only gets new graphics, but the bike now also gets a turn-by-turn navigation feature and a music & volume control function, which can be accessed through the Y-Connect Application.
