Ola offers Rs 50K discounts, gold-plated scooter: Deal explained
Ola Electric has rolled out a festive sales push ahead of Akshaya Tritiya, announcing limited-period offers under what it calls the ‘Ola Sona Weekend’. The company is offering benefits of up to Rs 50,000 across its electric two-wheeler range, along with a chance for customers to win a special gold-themed scooter. These prices, along with the broader set of benefits, are valid only for April 18 and 19, 2026, making it a short two-day purchase window.
The highlight of the campaign is the limited-edition Ola S1 Pro Sona, which features real 24-karat gold-plated elements. The model also features a dedicated “Sona Mood”, bringing a gold-themed interface to the Ola app and MoveOS dashboard.
As part of the offer, Ola is pricing its Gen 3 S1 X (2 kWh) and Roadster X (2.5 kWh) at Rs 49,999. The company has also extended the purchase window for its Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh electric motorcycle, which is powered by its in-house developed 4680 Bharat Cell. The model is being offered at Rs 1,39,999, down from Rs 1,89,999. However, this price is available only during specific time slots between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM on April 18 and 19, and is limited to select units. Buyers of this model will also get an 8-year extended warranty.
Across the portfolio, Ola is offering discounts of up to Rs 40,000, along with additional credit card benefits of up to Rs 10,000 on EMI transactions through select banks including Bank of Baroda, Scapia Federal, Yes Bank, IDFC, HSBC and HDFC Bank. An extended warranty of up to eight years is also part of the package for customers during this period.
This announcement comes shortly after Ola introduced the S1 X+ 5.2 kWh scooter, also powered by the 4680 Bharat Cell. The model has been priced at an introductory Rs 1,29,999 and delivers a claimed range of 320 km on a single charge.
