Back in 2017, Bajaj Auto announced its global partnership with UK-based manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles. Fast forward to 2023, the duo is all-set to introduce its maiden entry-level productions, believed to be a roadster and a scrambler, on July 5, 2023.

The bikes, manufactured locally by Bajaj, are expected to share the same new platform and are likely to get a 350-400cc engine. Ahead of the India launch, Triumph will take the wraps off the motorcycles globally on June 27 in London. It is only then when we can expect more details and their names.

Triumph is entering the highly-contested, entry-level, mid-capacity market and its roadster will rival the likes of Royal Enfield, Jawa, and Yezdi. Further, both the motorcycles are likely to get a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine.

Going by the spy shots that have surfaced so far, the motorcycles can be expected to get USD forks at the front, monoshock rear suspension, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The braking duties will be performed by disc brakes at both ends while dual-channel is likely to be offered as standard.

Upon their launch in India, the pricing of these motorcycles will play a significant role in determining their success. More so, as Harley-Davidson has also embarked upon the same mission with Bajaj’s rival, Hero MotoCorp as their partners. The Harley Davidson-Hero MotoCorp co-developed X440 is scheduled to make its debut on July 4, just three days prior to Bajaj-Triump’s motorcycle launch.
