CNG is known for its cost-effectiveness compared to petrol, making a CNG motorcycle a potential game-changer for budget-conscious riders and fleet operators amidst rising fuel prices.

Details about the engine specifications are yet to be revealed. Bajaj could either modify an existing petrol engine or create a new powertrain specifically made for CNG use. Exact performance figures remain undisclosed and could be expected closer to the launch.

The test mule that was spotted recently boasts a minimalistic commuter motorcycle design and features halogen turn indicators, conventional telescopic forks and a monoshock unit for suspension duties, multi-spoke alloy wheels, a long, single-piece seat, grab rails at the back, disc and drum braking setup and more. The motorcycle was heavily camouflaged and as the launch nears, we can expect more details to be available soon.

Bajaj CNG model: Potential names

The company's recent trademark applications for the names Glider, Marathon, Trekker, and Freedom, submitted between January 29th and February 9th, suggest that the upcoming model could potentially bear one of these names.
