Ather 450 Apex bookings open: Deliveries, expected price and more

Bengaluru-based startup Ather Energy has officially opened the bookings of its latest electric scooter - Ather Apex. Interested customers can book the scooter by visiting the company’s official website for a token amount of Rs 2,500. The deliveries are slated to begin from March 2024 and the price for the Ather Apex is expected to begin from Rs 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom).

The website shows that the new Ather Apex will feature a new ride mode - Warp+. The Apex will get four ride modes - Eco, Ride, Sport, Warp+ and the Warp+ is the newest mode which will make the scooter utilise the complete power to make it go fast. The company also released a teaser in which it shows the Apex in camouflage beating the 450X in a drag race. The teaser also mentioned that the rider won't need to use the brakes much. This means the new Apex will feature a stronger brake regeneration in which the rider can twist the throttle towards the other side to raise the level of re-gen.


In terms of design, the Ather Apex is expected to have the same design as the 450X but the Ather but make make slight cosmetic changes and could offer additional colour schemes and graphics to make it stand out. As per rumours, the 450 Apex is also expected to get a lighter sub-frame and transparent rear panels.

Talking about the powertrain and battery, the Apex is expected to get a much powerful electric motor with quicker acceleration and with top speed of over 100 kph. Battery capacity is expected to remain the same at 3.4 kWh. In terms of features, the Apex will get a fully digital touchscreen cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, mobile app integration, e-sim, LED lighting all around, telescopic front forks and mono-shock rear setup, disc brakes on both ends and much more.
