Preeti Jain case: Gawli's plea to be heard on Dec 9

MUMBAI: The Bombay High Court would
hear on December 9 the application filed by gangster-turned-politician Arun
Gawli seeking to restrain the police from subjecting him to scientific test in
regard to the investigations in the Preeti Jain conspiracy
case.
Earlier, the court has directed the Mumbai Police to file an affidavit after it failed to submit documents substantiating claim of Gawli being a suspect in Jain conspiracy case.
The police had said that it did not want to disclose the facts as the probe was on and the bench of Justice D G Deshpande and Justice V M Kanade asked the police to put it in affidavit.
The police had informed the court that Gawli was a suspect in the case and there was a need to conduct his scientific tests...

Gawli's lawyer P M Pradhan had said the police has served them a notice saying they plan to conduct Gawli's lie-detector test on November 28.
According to police, actress Pretti Jain had conspired to murder film maker Madhur Bhandarkar and had paid contract money to Arun Gawli's henchman Naresh Pardesi.
