Vijay Deverakonda starrer 'VD14' music to be directed by THIS duo; Here is what we know

Tollywood's Vijay Deverakonda has multiple projects under his pipeline. One of them is the Rahul Sankrityan directorial which is tentatively titled, 'VD14'. The recent developments suggest that the makers have finalized the music director of the film.
As per a 123Telugu report, it has been revealed that the music for 'VD 14' will be composed by the talented duo Ajay-Atul, who previously worked on the much-discussed film 'Adipurush' starring Prabhas. Fans are eagerly awaiting an official announcement regarding this collaboration.
Interestingly, Rashmika Mandanna is rumoured to play the female lead in 'VD 14', marking the third project between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna who are rumoured to be dating for a long time now. Their chemistry in their previous films 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Dear Comrade' is a fan favourite.
The film is said to be a period drama film where the 'Arjun Reddy' will be seen in a raw and rustic look. The makers released the poster of the film earlier on Vijay's birthday which featured an image of a mounted figure engraved on a large stone slab. The dates "1854 - 1878" inscribed below suggest that the story will delve into historical conflicts. The film is set in the historical backdrop with the tagline "The Legend of the Cursed Land."
The production is expected to begin soon, and more details about the storyline and additional cast members are anticipated in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Vijay is currently working on his next film tentatively titled, 'VD12' which will be a spy action thriller directed by 'Jersey' fame Gowtam Tinnanuri. He is rumoured to star opposite Bhagyashri Borse. The movie is set to hit the theatres on 28th March 2025.
