Do you think stricter hospital monitoring is needed to prevent misconduct?
According to BBC, the consultant anaesthetist had said he needed a "comfort break" and asked another nursing colleague to monitor the male patient halfway through the procedure.
Instead, Anjum went to another operating theatre at the hospital in Ashton-under-Lyne where he had sexual activity with a woman referred to in the hearing as Nurse C.
According to a report in Daily Mail, Anjum, who now works in Pakistan, said, "he felt shame and guilt at this horribly embarrassing incident, I don't know why it happened. I don't know what I was thinking."
